Coinciding with its 30th Anniversary, Lead New Jersey is honoring 30 influential men and women who have showcased consistent and strong leadership in New Jersey over the organization’s existence. WRI’s executive director, Gwendolyn L. Harris, Ph.D. and 1988 Lead NJ alumna, is among the honorees who will be recognized later this month at the organization’s Anniversary Gala in Jersey City. A pioneering leader in a host of public sector and social service roles—including but not limited to her time as the Commissioner of the New Jersey Department of Human Services and Chairperson of Mercer County Community College Board of Trustees—Ms. Harris has dedicated her time to the advancement of New Jersey citizens for decades.

Lead New Jersey educates, empowers and engages talented leaders to create systemic change around New Jersey’s most challenging issues in order to make New Jersey a better place to live and work for all. More information is available at https://www.leadnj.org/.
