: Countering Extreme Violence and Hate Locally

How can we identify, resist and counter radical extremism and hate in our community?

Join us for a special presentation on countering radical extremism and violence in our communities. Our distinguished speakers will explore why and how hate has risen in recent years, including violent extremist groups, and identify ways to combat this type of violence. Local resources and support will also be highlighted. Following the presentation, a panel discussion will include our speakers, campus police, student government, mental health professionals, and others. This event is free and light fare will be served. We welcome the campus community.
