Martha Carey has 20 years of experience working with a range of non-profit programs and educational organizations to help them identify best practices, refine strategies for success, and clarify their goals and mission. Along with her teaching experiences in Pennsylvania, Minnesota, Massachusetts, and California, she has worked on education program development, grants management, and program evaluation at the University of Minnesota, the Minnesota Center for Arts Education, the Minneapolis School District, the King County/Seattle Cultural Alliance, Town Hall Seattle, and the Museum of Pop Culture.

Martha received her bachelor’s degree in sociology at Carleton College, her master’s degree in education from Simmons College, and her doctorate in Urban Education from Temple University. Martha sits on the Board of DaVinci Art Alliance and of Pig Iron Theatre Company, both in Philadelphia.
