Prior to joining WRI, Celine worked as a project manager for a longitudinal study at the University of Virginia that studied the impact of the EL Education model on the development of social and emotional skills in middle school students. Celine has also served as an assistant professor of psychology at Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine, where she taught courses related to lifespan development and research methodology. She received her doctorate in Interdisciplinary Study of Human Development and a Master’s degree in Psychological Services from the University of Pennsylvania Graduate School of Education. Celine has experience working with and evaluating programs for Black youth and college students.

Celine’s research interests include gendered-racial identity development in Black women and scale development. In her spare time, she enjoys crafting and learning about the rich cultural history of the Frankford community in Philadelphia.
