Amanda Ekelberg, M.A.
Research Project Coordinator
Prior to joining the Senator Walter Rand Institute (WRI) as a Research Project Coordinator, Amanda first joined WRI in 2020 as a student research assistant. During this time, she worked on a number of projects including Community Health Needs Assessments, CORP & COAP, and various other program evaluations. Amanda’s research interests focus on factors influential of life course trajectories and social stratification. She has much experience with adverse childhood experiences and disparities as they relate to both individual and family relations. In her current work at WRI, Amanda assists on numerous projects relating to social-emotional learning and wellbeing. Amanda is a proud graduate of Rutgers University-Camden where she received a bachelor’s degree dually-majoring in Sociology and Childhood Studies and a master’s in Criminal Justice.
