Project Assistant & Collaborative Coordinator


Carla works as a Research Assistant at the Walter Rand Institute. She has previously worked in behavioral health care in PA in roles of translation, direct care, and case management. At WRI, Carla has coordinated projects with local partners involved in healthcare access and community services for underserved groups, and is involved in the dissemination of COVID-19 data and analyses conducted at WRI. Carla received her BA in Romance Languages from Bowdoin College, where she focused in Spanish and Italian. She worked as an English instructor abroad before pursuing an MA in Psychology from Rutgers University-Camden, completed in May 2020. Carla is invested in supporting projects that focus on improving access to services and responsiveness of interventions for underserved communities and immigrant populations.
