Carla Villacis, M.A.
Research Coordinator
Carla Villacis is a Research Coordinator for the Senator Walter Rand Institute for Public Affairs. She manages a variety of projects in the Southern New Jersey region, focusing on community well-being, health, and inclusive practices. Carla has led a variety of projects related to transportation access in Camden County, community health needs assessments for regional hospital networks, and the program evaluation for the Pascale Sykes Foundation’s Strengthening Families Initiative. Carla also conducts bilingual research activities in English and Spanish. Carla holds a B.A. in Romance Languages and an M.A. in Psychology. Prior to WRI, Carla worked as a mental health care provider performing roles in direct care, case management, and translation.
