Kiersten Westley Henson, M.A., M.S., is a Research Coordinator I. Kiersten works conducting quantitative and qualitative analysis, research evaluation, Principal Investigator of projects, and research coordination on numerous projects. Kiersten contributed to WRI’s work coordinating the Evaluation of the Pascale Sykes Foundation’s Strengthening Families Initiative. Kiersten is currently supporting the Clayton Model evaluation, Kiersten is an experienced researcher with a demonstrated history of working in the higher education industry, and is CITI certified. Skilled in qualitative and quantitative Research Methodologies, Higher Education, Psychology, Community Development, Public and Environmental Health, and Project Management. Kiersten has a B.A. and M.A. in psychology from Rutgers University Camden and an M.S. in Public Affairs/Community Development also from Rutgers University Camden. She is currently a PhD student in Prevention Science at Rutgers University-Camden. Her research interests focus on environmental health, food access, chronic disease, and mental and physical health in rural communities, and marginalized communities.
